Qu-Bot UART
Q1. I loaded the PC control program on Qu-bot, opened Serial terminal but the Qu-Bot is not moving with" W A S D" keys. What´s the problem?
(A1) Please upgrade your QBVLAB software to latest version. There was some bug in previous versions which is already rectified.
Also check your baud rate settings. They can be set at "Start" block attributes. Default is 57600.
Once you program any UART based code to the Qu-Bot open serial terminal set correct baud rate. Click on connect button and then on "Console" window you will get input from Qu-bot and you can give output to Qu-bot through "Output" window.
You have to type "A S D W" in capital for the sample code "Output" window.
Q2. With which peripherals can I control Qu-Bot?
(A2) In advanced applications, it´s possible to control Qu-Bot from the inputs of mouse, keyboard, webcam, internet or any other source available on PC. However this needs a high level of programming and hardware knowledge on PC.
Q3. Can I control Qu-Bot using Visual Basic?
(A3) Yes, you can. You can even download a Qu-Bot project file from our Qu-Bot "Downloads" section online. It controls motors; although you can control other peripherals on Qu-Bot too.
